The Duckling
The Duckling is in Portnalong, on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached wooden cabin. It's for two people and has a four star rating.
The main thing is the view. The front wall is almost all glass, looking straight out over the sea. You can see it from inside, or from the decking that runs along the front. There's parking underneath the deck.
Inside, it's all one room, a studio. The bed is at one end. It's a double bed with storage next to it. The bed can fold up into the wall if you want more floor space. The sofa reclines and you can move it around to face the view.
The kitchen area has an induction hob, a microwave, an oven, and a fridge-freezer. Everything works. The shower room is separate, with a walk-in shower.
You can bring one dog.
Portnalong is on the Minginish peninsula. The harbour is pretty. It's good for walks straight from the door. The Talisker distillery is a few miles away in Carbost. Carbost has a good pub with a view over Loch Harport too.
