Seascape is in Fiskavaig, on the west coast of Skye. It's a detached house, so you're on your own. It looks straight out over the beach and Loch Bracadale. The view is the main thing, really.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, so you've got space if you're a big group. One is a wet room on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's all in good order. Everything works.
It’s very quiet out here. The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in Carbost. That's where the Talisker Distillery is too, if you want a tour.
You’re in a good spot for the west side of the island. Dunvegan Castle is about twenty minutes north. Neist Point lighthouse is a bit further, but worth it for the view. Portree, the main town, is about half an hour's drive. You can get boat trips from there. If you want to go further, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing are up on the Trotternish peninsula, maybe forty-five minutes.
As for the house, it's got what you'd expect. Wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. The TV has satellite. There's parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
If you're looking for things to do, these are good places to start: Visit Scotland Skye and National Trust for Scotland. The NTS link is for Glencoe, which is over on the mainland but a common day trip.
