Rowan House is in Fiskavaig, which is on the west side of Skye. It's a detached house. You're right on the coast, about five yards from the beach. The view from the main room is straight out to sea, over the water. You might see seals.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance, and the main living space is all on one level.
The house has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and wifi. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
There's a shop and a pub about three miles away in Carbost. The Talisker distillery is there too, if you want a tour.
For a day out, Dunvegan Castle is not far. The Coral Beach walk from there is good, even if it's windy. Portree is the main town, about a 25 minute drive. It's got a harbour, shops, and places to eat.
The whole island is there for walking or driving. The Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing are on the Trotternish peninsula to the north. If you cross the bridge to the mainland, places like Plockton and Applecross are within about half an hour.
