Market Stance
Market Stance is a bungalow just outside Glenelg village. It's detached, so it's just you and the views.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. The main bedroom looks straight out over the water to Skye. The view from the living room and kitchen is the same, just fields and the sea. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
Being a bungalow, everything's on one level. The patio is covered, which is useful here. There's a proper telescope in the living room if you want a closer look at the hills or the water.
You're right on the coast. The sea is just at the bottom of the garden. Glenelg has a pub. For a proper day out, you can get the ferry across to Skye from the pier. It's the Glenelg to Kylerhea ferry, runs in the summer.
In terms of things to do, there's riding and fishing locally if that's your thing. For a big coastline walk, you're not far from the Glenelg hills and bays. If you drive over to Skye, everything there is within an hour. Plockton and Eilean Donan Castle are about half an hour's drive away.
Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking. The bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a highchair if you need one.
