Market Stance
Market Stance is a bungalow just outside Glenelg. It's detached, so you're on your own.
The main thing is the view. You can see right over to Skye and the beach from the living room, the kitchen, and the main bedroom. The sea is only a few yards away at the bottom of the garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. There's a proper kitchen with a dining table, and patio doors that open onto a covered bit outside.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. We've put in things like a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. There's a telescope in the living room if you want a closer look at the water.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. We can take up to two. There's parking right there.
Glenelg itself is small and quiet. There's a local pub. You can walk down to the shore easily. If you're interested, you can get the ferry over to Kylerhea on Skye to see the seals. About a 25 minute drive away is Eilean Donan Castle, which is probably the one you've seen pictures of.
For wider planning, the Visit Scotland Highlands and Islands page is useful, and the National Trust for Scotland manages a lot of the nearby land.
Bedding and towels are included. We also have a highchair if you need one.
