This is Glen Mhor in Glenelg. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That can be handy. It's a quiet spot. Very quiet.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms: one has a super kingsize bed, the other two are twins. There's one big bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower.
The living room is a good size, with an electric fire. The kitchen has a dining table and a Rayburn cooker, which is red. It works well. You've also got a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a patio. It's all yours. There's parking right there.
Glenelg itself is remote. It's a proper end-of-the-road place. The Glenelg Inn is next door. They do food and it's a good pub. There's a small local shop for basics.
The main thing here is the ferry to Skye. It’s the old turntable ferry and it leaves from just down the hill at the pier. It goes to Kylerhea on Skye. It's a lovely way over. It saves you about an hour's drive if you're heading that way.
If you're not using the ferry, Skye is about an hour's drive via the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. Eilean Donan Castle is about forty minutes away. Plockton is maybe fifty minutes. The road to Applecross is spectacular, but it's a serious drive with the Bealach na Bà pass. Allow over an hour for that.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
