Cattle Lodge, a small converted barn, can be found just outside the pretty village of St Nicholas-at-Wade, alongside a small group of other barn conversions and the former farmhouse.
Recently refurbished, in 2020, there’s an open plan living and kitchen area with breakfast/dining bar that seats six. There’s a cafetière and a small Nespresso coffee maker that uses pods, along with an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The property is all electric with heating throughout, as well as an easy to use log-burner for chillier nights. There’s also a washing machine.
The private garden, which is not overlooked, is south facing and perfect for relaxing with a glass of something nice after a day of exploring historic east Kent and its fabulous beaches. There are two bedrooms, one has a kingsize bed and wall mounted TV with integral DVD player, whilst the other has a double bed and access to a cosy loft room, with two 2ft 6in single beds: perfect for older children, although many adults have enjoyed sleeping there! The bathroom has a shower cubicle as well as a lovely bath, under a skylight, so you can relax, lie back, and look at the stars.
In addition to being within walking distance of a quiet pebbly beach, Cattle Lodge is near many great seaside places including Whitstable, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Margate, Herne Bay and more! Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
