Blackberry Lodge
Blackberry Lodge is on our small farm just outside Ripon, in the village of Laverton. It's detached and sits in its own big garden. The outlook is over fields. It's quiet out here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with bunk beds. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It's open plan inside.
You've got your own decked veranda and a lawn. There's a BBQ. You'll see our hens wandering about sometimes. The garden is private.
The nearest village with a shop and a pub is Kirkby Malzeard. It's about a twenty minute walk. They've got a good butcher. Masham is a ten minute drive, that's a proper market town. Ripon is about fifteen minutes away. It has a cathedral and decent places to eat.
You're right on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For a big day out, Fountains Abbey is about twenty minutes by car. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is within half an hour.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
