Perched on the Great Orme headland, Bron Berllan commands far reaching, spectacular views over Llandudno bay just ¼ mile away, and the discrete owners live in the annexe.
This is a great base from which to explore the Orme. You can walk to the Great Orme Tramway, the UKs only cable operated street tramway, or go deep underground at the Bronze Age Copper Mines, a fascinating glimpse into the past. There are plenty of local activities for some adventure; take a trip on Britain’s longest cable car ride, try your hand on the dry ski slope and toboggan run, climb 679ft to the Great Orme summit complex, drive round the Marine Drive, or go for a stroll on the longest pier in Wales! Wander down into the restaurant quarter of town, and have a leisurely meal, then hop in a taxi back to Bron Berllan!
There’s a great selection of shops in Llandudno, plus Venue Cymru theatre, where you might perhaps catch a visiting show from the West End. A little further away is historic Conwy, with its mighty Edward I castle and boat trips from the quay, where fresh fish is landed daily. The beautiful Isle of Anglesey is also close by, as is the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden, the Conwy Valley and Betws-y-Coed. For golf enthusiasts looking to practice their swing, there is a 9-hole golf course situated across from the property, within 300 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
