Symbister Suite

Symbister Suite is part of Delgatie Castle, a few miles outside Turriff. It's the north wing of the actual castle. So you're staying in a proper castle building, with stone walls and things. It's on a big estate, surrounded by fields and woods.

It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, but it's still a historic building so expect some quirks. The stairs and corridors are what you'd imagine in a castle.

The castle itself is open to the public during the day. There's a tea room that does good cakes. You get the wing to yourselves outside of visiting hours.

Turriff is about three miles away. It's a small town with shops and pubs. The area is known for golf. There are a few courses nearby, like Turriff Golf Club.

If you like fishing, there's river fishing for trout and salmon locally. You can also go horse riding. For a swim, the indoor pool complex in Turriff is the place.

Aberdeen is about a 45-minute drive if you need a city or the airport. The Moray coast, with places like Banff and Macduff, is about half an hour north. That's where you get the coastal walks and villages.

In terms of what's here, the suite has a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate as well. No pets, sorry.
