Hayfield is a cottage in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. It's about two and a half miles from the town. It's actually part of a castle, so the setting is unusual. You're in a self-contained flat within the main building.
It sleeps six people, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star rated place, so it's comfortable and well kitted out.
Because it's in a castle, the views from the windows are over the grounds. It's a quiet spot. You get your own parking right there.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: a washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones. No pets though.
There's a tearoom on site called the Lairds Kitchen. They do coffee, lunches, and afternoon teas. You don't have to cook if you don't want to.
Turriff has shops, a swimming pool, and a few golf courses nearby. If you like fishing, there's local river fishing. For bigger days out, Aberdeen is about 45 minutes away by car. The Moray Coast, with places like Banff and Macduff, is within half an hour. The Cairngorms National Park is about an hour's drive if you fancy mountains.
This place can be booked with another apartment in the castle called Symbister if you've got a bigger group. Together they sleep eleven.
