Scobach Lodge Turriff

Scobach Lodge is a bungalow about three miles outside Turriff. It's detached, right in among the trees, so it feels quiet and private. You can park right outside.

It sleeps five and everything is on one level. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a four star rating. There's a woodburning stove which is good for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The garden is enclosed and there's a patio. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.

Turriff is the nearest proper town and has everything you need: shops, a swimming pool, a leisure centre, and a golf course. The local rivers are popular for fishing.

For days out, Duff House in Banff is a National Trust property about ten miles away. It's an art gallery and a grand house, so it's a good option if the weather turns. The coastal villages like Pennan and Gardenstown are worth the drive, about half an hour. The beaches up at Fraserburgh or near Peterhead are good for a walk.
