Kirk Wynd Cottage Kirriemuir

Kirk Wynd Cottage is in Kirriemuir. It's down a quiet lane, so it's peaceful even though you're right in the town.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms: one good-sized double and one small single. There's one bathroom. It's under the stairs, so it's a bit on the compact side. It's clean and it works fine. The place has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and looked after, not luxurious.

The cottage is in the middle of things. You can walk to pretty much everything in Kirriemuir. There's J.M. Barrie's birthplace if you're interested in Peter Pan. There's an old sweetshop and the Camera Obscura for views. A couple of decent pubs are close by.

If you want to get out, Glamis Castle is about ten minutes by car. It's famous for the Queen Mother. Good for a walk around the grounds.

Dundee is roughly half an hour's drive. Perth is about the same. You've got the V&A and the RSS Discovery in Dundee. The Angus Glens are right on the doorstep for walking. There's a golf course local and horse riding nearby if you want to book that.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
