Kirk Wynd Cottage is in Kirriemuir. It's in the middle of the town, down a quiet lane. It's a two bedroom cottage, sleeps three. There's a double room and a proper single room, so it's good for a couple or a couple with one child. It's got a 3 Star rating, so think comfortable more than luxury.
The bathroom is small. It's under the stairs, so you'll need to mind your head. It's fine as long as you know it's compact.
You can walk into town easily. There's the J.M. Barrie birthplace museum, a camera obscura, and an old sweet shop. The local pub is a few minutes' walk.
For days out, Glamis Castle is about ten minutes by car. Dundee is maybe half an hour, with the V&A and the Discovery. Perth is similar. The Angus Glens are right on the doorstep if you want to go walking. There's a golf course nearby and riding stables a short drive away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included.
