It's a Newburgh townhouse, a C-listed building. It's on three floors, so there are a lot of stairs. They're a proper, old-fashioned turret staircase, rounded. You need to be careful on them.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. There's a shower room on the ground floor and a separate toilet on the first floor. The rating is 4 Star. It was done up in 2021, so it's in good nick.
You get a private garden out the back. It's south-facing, stone, with some plants. There's space for two cars off the road.
The living room is on the first floor. It's got windows north and south, so it's bright. There's an open fire for cooler evenings. The kitchen-diner is on the ground floor and looks out to the courtyard.
You're about half a mile from the shops and a couple of pubs in the village. The big local draw is the Lindores Abbey Distillery, about a ten-minute walk. They do tours, tastings, food, the lot.
For walks, the start of the Fife Coastal Path is right there. There are loads of other good ones nearby, like Maspie Den which leads to Falkland Palace. You're on the Tay, so it's good for coastal views.
Within half an hour's drive you have places like St Andrews for the golf and the town, plus Falkland Palace, and you can get into Perth or Dundee easily.
Facilities: it's got the fire, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a TV and a BBQ in the garden.
