This is the Newburgh C Listed Townhouse. It's in the middle of Newburgh, a small town in Fife right on the River Tay.

It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place was completely redone a few years ago so it's in good order, comfortable. You can bring one dog.

It's spread over three floors, which is typical for these old places. The stairs are part of a turret, so they're circular and a bit tight. Just something to be aware of.

You can see the river from the top floor bedrooms. The town is on the Fife Coastal Path, so you can join that right from the door for a walk. The living room has an open fire, and there's a small, private courtyard garden out the back.

Parking isn't a problem, there's space for two cars off the road.

Newburgh itself has a few things. The Lindores Abbey Distillery is about a ten minute walk away. They do tours and have a cafe. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs about half a mile from the house.

If you drive, you've got options. St Andrews is about half an hour away for the university, the cathedral ruins, and the golf. Dundee is roughly the same distance the other way, over the Tay Bridge. For a longer day out, you could get up into Perthshire or over to Edinburgh in around an hour.

In the house you've got the basics: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue you can use in the garden.
