Mill Hall Cottages
Mill Hall Cottages are in Newburgh, Fife. It's my cottage in the pair of semi-detached ones, attached to the old mill. You get the courtyard garden out the back to yourselves. It's quiet and looks out over the fields towards the river.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was refurbished in 2021, so it's fresh and clean. The layout is on three levels, which is just how the old building is. There are stairs.
Newburgh village is a short walk away. It's got a shop, a cafe, and a couple of pubs. The Lindores Abbey Distillery is just up the road and does a good tour if you're into whisky. You can join the Fife Coastal Path from the door for walking.
St Andrews is about half an hour's drive. That's for the beaches, the old university, and the golf. Dundee is around 20 miles over the Tay Bridge, good for the V&A museum and other city things. Perth and Edinburgh are both under an hour's drive if you use the motorway.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a BBQ and bike storage in the courtyard.
