The Old Post Office is in Corran, which is a small place in the Highlands. It's detached. It was rebuilt in 2006, so it's not an old crooked cottage, but it's in an old spot.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. There's a toilet upstairs and a shower downstairs. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Loch Hourn towards Skye. It's very quiet. You get that here.
Downstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Upstairs, the bedrooms are under the eaves, so the ceilings slope. The stairs are a normal flight, not a ladder.
It's listed as wheelchair accessible at the entrance. The parking is right outside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Corran itself has a small shop. It's the sort that has a bit of everything. The nearest pub is in Glenelg, about ten miles drive.
If you want to walk, you can start from the door. There's a munro behind the village. The coast is right there. For more organised trips, you're not far from Glenelg and the ferry to Skye. Glencoe and Glenfinnan are both within about an hour's drive.
