Grieves Cottage

This is Grieves Cottage in Arnisdale. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space. There's parking right there.

It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. Two twins and one double. There's one bathroom, downstairs, with a separate shower and a big old bath. The stairs are fine, just regular stairs.

The main thing is the view. You look out over the loch towards Skye and Knoydart. The living room has an open fire for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need. There's a utility room with a washing machine, which is handy. The garden is fenced, so it's safe for kids or dogs. You can bring up to two dogs.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

Arnisdale itself is a small village. There's a local shop that sells most things. For a pub or a meal, you'd drive to Glenelg, about ten miles away. In summer, there's a ferry to Skye from Kylerea near Glenelg.

You're right on the coast here. There are good walks straight from the door, both along the water and into the hills. There's even a Munro behind the village if that's your thing. You might see a lot of wildlife. Eilean Donan Castle is within half an hour's drive.
