Grieves Cottage

This is Grieves Cottage in Arnisdale. It's a detached house, not right in the village but very close. You get the garden, it's fully fenced which is good for dogs or small children.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms: a twin downstairs, another twin and a double upstairs. One bathroom on the ground floor. It has a big old bath and a separate electric shower. The stairs are normal, not too steep for a cottage.

The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Loch Hourn towards Skye and Knoydart. The living room has an open fire. There's a TV, some books and games. The kitchen has what you need. The utility room has a washing machine and a door out to the garden.

The village shop is a few minutes walk. It's old-fashioned and sells most things. The nearest pub is in Glenelg, about ten miles drive. In the summer, you can get the small ferry to Skye from Kylerhea, near Glenelg.

Walking is right from the door. There's a Munro, Ladhar Bheinn, right behind the village. The coastal path is here too. Eilean Donan Castle is about a 40 minute drive. Wildlife is everywhere: seals, otters, eagles.

Facilities are included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars. It's rated 4 Star. We accept up to two dogs.
