The Cart Shed Knapton Green

The Cart Shed is in Knapton Green, near Yazor. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything is on the ground floor. It used to be a cart shed, so the ceilings are quite high and the walls are thick. It gets the morning sun.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not huge, but it feels spacious because of the layout.

We live next door on the smallholding. We've got pigs, geese, chickens, and bees. Our two dogs are friendly and will probably come and say hello if they're out. The garden is enclosed and you're welcome to wander around the grounds.

There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile down the lane. They're walkable if you don't mind a country road. The nearest shop is in Yazor, about three miles away.

Hereford is about a 20-minute drive. The cathedral is there, and the Mappa Mundi is worth seeing. For a day out, the Black and White villages are good for a drive. The Forest of Dean is about half an hour away for walking or cycling. There are a few National Trust properties within a 30-minute drive, like Berrington Hall and Croft Castle.

For facilities: it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. We accept up to two dogs.
