The Cart Shed

The Cart Shed is on the edge of Knapton Green, near Kington. It's a single-storey, detached cottage, so no stairs to worry about. It used to be an old cart shed, which explains the shape.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom and it's a wet room, which is handy. The place is tidy and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's all on the ground floor, some people find that easier.

We live next door. We've got a smallholding with pigs, chickens, and geese. Our two dogs are friendly and will probably come over to say hello. You're welcome to wander around the landscaped grounds. It's very quiet here.

There's a pub and restaurant about half a mile away, you can walk it. The nearest proper shop is in Kington, about three miles.

You're in the middle of the countryside here. Kington is a good little town. Leominster and Hereford are both about a twenty minute drive. Hereford Cathedral has the Mappa Mundi if you're interested in that sort of thing.

For days out, you've got the Black and White Villages all around. The National Trust's Berrington Hall and Croft Castle are close by. The Forest of Dean is about half an hour's drive for walking and cycling. The Brecon Beacons are a bit further, maybe forty minutes.

What's here: a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, enclosed garden with a patio, parking right outside. There's also a cot and a highchair if you need them. WiFi works fine. You can bring two dogs.
