The Beehive is an apartment for two, up one flight of stairs. It's separate from our house, but you are next door. The parking is right there, and you get your own bit of garden to sit out in.
It's cosy. It's got a 3 Star rating, which I think means it's comfortable and clean. Not a show home.
You're on a quiet lane. There's a shop and a local pub about ten minutes walk away. A gastro pub is a bit further. Buddileigh itself is tiny. You'll want a car.
Nantwich is the proper town nearby, maybe 15 minutes in the car. It's nice. Old buildings, cafes, and a famous outdoor saltwater lido. They open that in the summer.
For days out, you've got options. Alton Towers is about 50 minutes away. Stoke-on-Trent is 20 minutes if you want to see the potteries, like the Emma Bridgewater factory. There's also the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker in that direction.
It's good for walking and cycling straight from the door. There's a golf course nearby. And you're close to the borders of Cheshire, Shropshire, and Staffordshire, so you can explore a few counties easily.
What's here: your own parking, the garden, WiFi, TV, a shower. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate at the top. There's storage if you bring bikes.
Useful links: National Trust Cheshire and Peak District National Park. The Peak District isn't on your doorstep, but you can get to the southern edges in under half an hour.
