Buddileigh Farm

Buddileigh Farm is a semi-detached farmhouse just outside a village called Buddileigh. It's in Staffordshire, near the Shropshire and Cheshire borders. The place sleeps eight, across four bedrooms, with three bathrooms. That's pretty handy for a group.

It's got a 5 Star rating. That means everything's in good order and it's well equipped.

The big thing here is the garden. It's 17 acres, shared with the other half of the house, but it's huge so you won't be on top of each other. It's mostly fields. At the bottom there's a pond with swans on it. You can sit out on your own patio area.

Inside, there's a games room, which is good if the weather turns. There's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking.

For facilities, you've got a local shop about a mile away. The pub is closer, maybe three quarters of a mile. They do food. A restaurant is about three miles.

If you're driving, Alton Towers is the big one nearby. Bridgemere Garden World is popular. Stoke-on-Trent is about half an hour away for the Potteries museums. The Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker is an unusual visit. The historic bit of Nantwich is nice for a wander. There's a golf course a mile away. For something different, Trentham Monkey Forest is about eleven miles.

No pets, I'm afraid.
