The Stables
The Stables is what it says on the tin. It's a converted stable block on our dairy farm, Park End. You'll see the cows. It's quiet here, fields all around. The patio looks out over them.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with four-poster beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not a show home.
Inside is one open room with the kitchen, a dining table, and the sitting area by the electric fire. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, TV, and the Wi-Fi works.
You can get onto the property level, and there's parking right outside.
The local pub is about two miles away, in Whitmore. It does food. The shop is there too. For a bigger supermarket, you'd go to Newcastle-under-Lyme, which is about seven miles.
You're fairly central here. Alton Towers is maybe a 25 minute drive. The Potteries are about half an hour. The Peak District is maybe 40 minutes to the edges. The Churnet Valley Steam Railway is close. Keele University is just up the road.
