Harden Cottage is a detached cottage, nestled down a single track in countryside just over 2 miles from Wick. Inside this cottage is a cosy living room with leather sofas wrapping around a wood burner; the formal dining room also has a wood burner. There’s also a utility room and a bathroom with a roll-top bath on the ground floor. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped. On the first floor you’ll find two double bedrooms and a shower room. Outside there is ample parking and gardens. Harden Farmhouse is furnished and equipped to a very good standard to ensure a comfortable and relaxing holiday and makes a super base for exploring the Caithness area and beyond.
Visit Wick’s Heritage Centre and The Pultney Distillery, both within walking distance, or perhaps the Castle of Mey, Dunnet Head, John O’Groats and the beautiful Orkney Isles, all within easy reach. The Grey Cairns of Camster are just one example of the many archeological sites in the area. Castle Sinclair Girnigoe is also nearby. For those seeking an active holiday, there are lots of watersports available, including surfing and sea angling, or why not try inland mountain biking and hill walking?
