Close to John O’ Groats in the far north of Scotland, Celtic Firs is the perfect place to base yourself for a short break or longer stay when exploring this amazing part of the UK. Cabins that have been converted from caravans, Celtic Firs has a quirky, unique interior and exterior. It’s set in lovely, peaceful grounds with views of trees and farmland. With a few chickens roaming free range around the grounds, it’s a tranquil wee oasis in Caithness. Close to amazing Dunnet Head and Beach, as well as the Castle of Mey. Ferries across to Orkney are close by and John O’ Groats is only a short drive away. The NC500 is a stone’s throw away, so you can be off exploring all over the north of the Highlands in no time at all. Pub 1 mile, restaurant 3 miles.
