Hare's Furrow
Hare's Furrow is our place just outside Great Glen. It's detached, built in 2019, so everything works properly and it's well insulated. It sleeps eight over four bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy for groups.
The garden is large and fully enclosed. There's a patio area with seating, a BBQ, and a hot tub. Inside, it's open plan. Wooden beams, a big kitchen table, that sort of thing. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's comfortable and finished well.
The village pub is about a five minute walk. It serves food. The nearest shop for basics is a mile away in Great Glen itself.
You're about 20 minutes from Leicester. The King Richard III visitor centre is there if that's your thing, and so is the National Space Centre. Market Harborough is closer, maybe a 15 minute drive. Nice for a wander and a coffee.
About half an hour away, you've got Foxton Locks on the Grand Union Canal, good for a walk. Rutland Water is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes, for cycling or watersports. There are a few National Trust properties within reasonable driving distance, like Lyveden.
Facilities wise: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The ground floor and entrance are wheelchair accessible. No pets, sorry.
