Raynard's Retreat is one of two lodges at Springbrook Farm, near Billesdon. It's a single-storey timber building, so no stairs to worry about. It's detached and you've got your own patio and garden area.
It sleeps four in two double bedrooms and has one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living area is open plan.
The place is very rural. You look out over fields towards Billesdon Coplow, which is that tree-covered hill you can see for miles around. It's quiet. There's parking right outside.
Facilities include WiFi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are provided. There's a washing machine. You can bring one well-behaved dog. The owner can sometimes arrange stabling for horses if you ask in advance, as there's a paddock on site.
For things to do, you're in walking country straight from the door. Market Harborough is about a 15 minute drive and has a good high street. Leicester is under half an hour away - shops, the National Space Centre, that kind of thing. Rutland Water is about 20-25 minutes by car for walks, cycling, or watersports.
