Raynard's Retreat is a lodge at Springbrook Farm, near Billesdon. It's one of two on the site, but they're detached so you've got your own space. The lodges are single-storey, so everything is on one level.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Outside, there's a private patio and garden area. It looks out over fields. The hot tub is out there too, which is nice in the evening. You can bring one dog. If you're bringing a horse, the owner has stabling and a paddock, you'd need to sort that out with them directly.
It's very quiet here. The view from the lodge is of Billesdon Coplow, that's the wooded hill you can see. There are walks straight from the door.
For a pint or some shopping, Billesdon village is close. It's small. For a bigger town, Market Harborough is about a 20 minute drive. It's a proper market town with nice shops and places to eat. Leicester is under half an hour away if you need city things, like the Highcross shopping centre or the National Space Centre.
A bit further out, Rutland Water is maybe 25 minutes by car. Good for walking, cycling, or birdwatching. The Rutland Water website has all the details.
The facilities are all here: WiFi, parking, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. It's open plan inside, so the living area and kitchen are all together.
