Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is a little cottage in Rottingdean, near Brighton. It's a two up, two down sort of place. Sleeps three, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The location is the main thing. You're about a five minute walk to the sea. The undercliff walk along there is good. There's a local shop about fifty yards away and a pub just past that. The duck pond on the village green is around the corner.
It's quiet here, but Brighton is ten minutes away by car or bus. You've got the Marina that way, or head into town for the Lanes, the Pavilion, all of that. The bus stop is close.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's a washing machine, a cot if you need one, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you want to get out of town, the South Downs are right there. Devils Dyke is a classic spot for a walk. Arundel Castle is about half an hour's drive. For more ideas, the South Downs National Park site is useful, as is the National Trust for South East page for places like Nymans.
