Tigh an Tobair is a charming three bedroom cottage, occupying a prime location of the north west of Skye. Just 5 miles outside Dunvegan, in the village of Colbost, and only a stone’s throw from Skye’s illustrious Three Chimney’s restaurant. With its hillside location, Tigh an Tobair affords views over Loch Dunvegan to the coral beaches and over to the Minch. This cottage is all on one level and has three comfortable bedrooms, a kingsize bedroom, a double bedroom and a further single bedroom. The bathroom comes with a shower over the bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with a spacious dining table, electric cooker, dishwasher and a coffee machine. The living room has comfy settees and a wood burner, offering the perfect area to relax and unwind after a busy day out and about.
The outside seating area allows guests to fully appreciate the panoramic views over the water, and has a pretty stream running through the garden. There is also storage for bikes and canoes which guests are welcome to use at their leisure. Colbost is a quiet crofting township in the northern peninsula of Skye and the coastline is under 5 minutes’ walk. The famous Three Chimneys is a 10-minute walk and is known as Skye’s most iconic restaurant, a must visit during your stay, and an opportunity not to be missed although advanced booking is recommended.
