Redstones Cottage Irby Hill

Redstones Cottage is on a farm near Irby on the Wirral. It's a detached single-storey lodge, so all on one level. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, and each has its own ensuite bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It's got underfloor heating, which is good in winter. The layout is open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. Pets aren't allowed, sorry.

You're between Greasby and Irby villages. Both have pubs and places to eat you can walk to. There's a country pub about three minutes away that does food, and a lot of walking loops start from there.

The coast is about fifteen minutes away by car. Thurstaston beach and West Kirby are that way. At West Kirby you can walk out to the Hilbre Islands at low tide to see the seals. Wirral Council has the tide times and access details for Hilbre.

For walks, Royden Park is in Frankby. It's got a good hill with views over the Dee. Arrowe Country Park is nearby too. If you golf, there are a lot of courses around here, including Royal Liverpool at Hoylake.

You can get the Mersey Ferry from Seacombe or Woodside over to Liverpool. That takes about half an hour. From there it's easy to get to the museums at the Albert Dock, or into the city centre.
