Redstones Cottage is in Irby Hill, on the Wirral. It's a detached single-storey lodge on a farm. Being all on one level makes it easy.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, which is really handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The underfloor heating is good, makes it feel warm.
You're between the villages of Greasby and Irby. Both have pubs and shops. There's a food-serving country pub about three minutes walk away, which is a good start point for walks. The garden is enclosed and there's parking right there.
For local walks, Royden Park in Frankby has good views from the hill. Arrowe Country Park is close by too.
You can get to the coast in about fifteen minutes. Thurstaston beach is good, and West Kirby has a marine lake and promenade. At low tide you can walk out to the Hilbre Islands to see seals. New Brighton is the other way, with the promenade and lighthouse.
Liverpool is about half an hour's drive, depending on traffic. You can get the Mersey Ferry from Seacombe across to the Albert Dock. The National Trust has a few properties around there, like Speke Hall.
The place has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
