Tansey Cottage
Tansey Cottage is in Hartlebury, Worcestershire. It's a detached modern cottage built to look older. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one of which is an en-suite shower room to the main bedroom.
The rating is 4 Star. It's been built and decorated to a good standard. It's spacious and light.
Downstairs, there's a living room with a wood burner. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and washing machine. It opens onto a dining area and a sun room, which looks out onto the garden. The garden is enclosed.
Upstairs, the stairs are normal. Not steep. The bedrooms are all doubles, two of them with king-size beds.
The cottage is on a quiet lane. At the end of the lane is Hartlebury Castle. You can walk around the grounds. It's an easy stroll from the door.
Hartlebury is about five miles from Kidderminster and eight from Worcester. You're near the A449, so it's straightforward to get around.
For days out, the Malvern Hills are about half an hour's drive for walking. The Severn Valley Railway is in Bridgnorth, which is also about half an hour away. The West Midlands Safari Park is just outside Kidderminster, less than ten minutes by car.
Facilities include the wood burner, all the kitchen things you'd expect, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels. There's parking on site for two cars. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
