Three Batch Cottages

This is Three Batch Cottages. It's in Chaddesley Corbett, a village between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster. It's a terraced cottage, Grade II listed. Sleeps eight, which I know seems a lot for three bedrooms, but two of them have double bunks. So two bedrooms have a normal double bed, and the third room has two double bunks. There are two bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's old and the layout shows it, but it's comfortable. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's on-site parking.

You're right in the village. There's a pub literally across the road. They do food and have events sometimes. The village shop and a tea room are about a hundred yards away. A proper butcher's too.

For things to do, the West Midland Safari Park is about ten minutes by car. The Severn Valley Railway starts at Kidderminster, which is about a fifteen-minute drive. If you like walking, Chaddesley Woods is on the edge of the village. It's a nature reserve with footpaths.

Worcester is about twenty minutes away for the cathedral and the river. Birmingham is maybe half an hour if you need a city. For National Trust places, Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses are close, and so is Hanbury Hall.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a games room in the outbuilding with a pool table.
