Little Plumtree

Little Plumtree is in Addingham village. It’s a two-bed cottage that sleeps four. We’ve just done it up.

The access is via a stepped path from the lane. That’s the main thing to know. The garden is enclosed, private, and you get it to yourselves. There’s a timber conservatory at the back. It’s a nice spot.

Inside, there’s a twin room and a king bedroom. The king room has a free-standing bath in it. The shower room is separate. It’s got a four-star rating, so everything should be in good order.

You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed but you’ll want to keep an eye on them.

Addingham is a proper village. There’s a shop, cafes, and a couple of pubs within walking distance. You don’t need the car for basics. It’s on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so you can start walking from the door.

Bolton Abbey estate is about a five-minute drive. It’s good for long walks by the river. Ilkley is three miles away if you want more shops or restaurants. Skipton, with the castle and market, is about twenty minutes by car.

The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. There’s a BBQ for the garden if the weather’s good.

For planning, the National Trust in the Yorkshire Dales site is useful.
