Barrow Barn
Barrow Barn is a bungalow in Wicken. It's detached. The place sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, one ensuite to each bedroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
It's all on one level, which people seem to like. The main living area is open plan. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for kids. You get a view over the fields from there.
The village itself is nice. There's a pub about 500 yards away that does food. The shop is in the next village, about two miles.
Wicken Fen is right on the doorstep. You can walk to it. It's a National Trust reserve, great for a walk if you're into wildlife. Wicken Fen.
Ely is about ten miles away. You can see the cathedral from miles off. They've got the riverside and a market. Cambridge is a bit further, maybe a 25 minute drive depending on traffic. The university buildings are worth seeing. Newmarket for the races is about 20 minutes away. If you want to go to the coast, the North Norfolk beaches like Hunstanton are just over an hour's drive.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
