Hill Farm Cottage Waterbeach

Hill Farm Cottage is a detached house on a farm between Waterbeach and Ely. We live in the main farmhouse, so we're here if you need anything.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got its own parking and garden. The upstairs landing has a door out to a small balcony that looks over the garden and the lake. The lake view is nice. It's not a massive lake, but it's quiet.

It's very quiet out here. You're in the proper flat Fens countryside. It's good for cycling because it's flat. The local roads are quiet.

Ely is about fifteen minutes drive. The cathedral is worth seeing. You can visit Ely Cathedral or get more general info from Visit Ely. Cambridge is about twenty-five minutes by car, depending on traffic. You can get the park and ride from Milton or Trumpington.

The house has a wood burning stove. We leave some logs for you to get started. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The kitchen has what you need. Bedding and towels are included.

You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed but a determined dog might find a way out, so keep an eye on them.

There's a pub in Landbeach, about a mile away. They do food. The nearest shop is a Co-op in Waterbeach, about three miles.

If you like fishing, you can get a day ticket for the lake. You need your own gear.
