Hill Farm Cottage Waterbeach

Hill Farm Cottage is our place in Waterbeach. It's detached, so no neighbours on either side. We live on-site in the main farmhouse, but the cottage is yours.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs off the kitchen. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.

You walk in to the living room, which is light. There's a wood burner. Through a door is the kitchen with a dining table. The bathroom is just off there.

Upstairs, the ceilings slope because it's in the roof. The main bedroom is a good size. The twin room is fine for kids. There's a little landing that leads out to a balcony. You get a view over our garden and the lake. It's peaceful.

There's a patio and garden area for the cottage. Parking is right outside.

The local pub is about a mile away, it serves food. The shop is in the village, three miles.

Ely is about a 15 minute drive. The cathedral is the main thing, it's worth seeing. The Ely Cathedral site has the visitor information. It's a nice town to wander around.

You're right in the Fens here, so it's flat. Good for cycling. There's fishing on the lake if you're into that. For a wider look at things to do, Visit Cambridgeshire Fens is useful.

Facilities wise, it's got the washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible to get in, but bear in mind the bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
