Glenhowl Lodge
Glenhowl Lodge is a gate lodge, detached, on the edge of Kendoon near Dalry. It looks out across fields. You get the view to yourselves.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom. You can bring one dog.
The living room has a woodburning stove. It’s got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There’s bike storage round the side, which is handy as it’s right on the Southern Upland Way. The garden is enclosed.
Dalry village is about three miles away. It's a proper little place with two shops, a post office, and a couple of hotels that do food.
It’s right in the middle of the 7 Stanes for mountain biking. You're also close to the Galloway Dark Sky Park if you’re into that. Castle Douglas is about a twenty minute drive south. Ayr is roughly forty minutes north.
Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
