Rascal Wood

Rascal Wood is out on Rascal Moor, near Holme-on-Spalding Moor. It's a big detached farmhouse, sleeps fourteen. Seven bedrooms, five bathrooms. It's part of a working farm, so you'll see tractors and things out the windows. The gardens are lawned with a patio. There's underfloor heating and an open fire.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, quite light and spacious. Good for a big group. There's a games room.

The village is about a twenty minute walk away, or two miles by road. It's got shops, a couple of pubs, a bakery, places to eat. The area is good for walking and cycling, lots of quiet lanes.

Beverley is twenty minutes by car. It's a nice town, has the minster. Hull is about half an hour, you've got The Deep aquarium there. York is less than an hour, for the Jorvik Centre and the cathedral. The coast at Bridlington, Filey or Scarborough is about forty-five minutes. The North York Moors are maybe an hour away.

For things to do, there's local golf, fishing, clay shooting, horse riding. The owner knows the area well if you need tips on walks.
