Tudor House is in Eastrington, a village near Goole. It's a detached house built in what they call the Tudor Revival style, so it's old-looking but not ancient. It's got its own garden.
The house sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. The stairs are typical for an old-style house.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile's walk. The village shop is three and a half miles away in Howden, so you'll likely want to drive for groceries. Howden is a nice market town with a Minster.
The location is quiet and rural. You're on the edge of the Vale of York, with the Yorkshire Wolds not far to the east for walking. The Yorkshire.com site has general information. For specific walks, the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail is about a 20-minute drive.
Within half an hour you can drive to York. It's under a 30-mile trip for the Minster, the Shambles, and the railway museum. Beverley is closer, about 20 minutes away, and has a lovely market and another impressive Minster.
Facilities wise: it has a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. They allow up to three pets. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Stabling is available at the owner's farm nearby if you want to bring your own horse for the local bridleways.
