Leedale Cottage is in Saltmarshe, on a working livestock farm by the River Ouse. It's a converted barn. You get views over the fields.
It sleeps six, but there are only two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You'll see the farm animals. You can walk along the river bank from here. The location is quiet and rural.
A shop and a place to eat are about four miles away in Howden. York is a half hour drive. You've got the Minster, the ghost walks, and all the restaurants there.
Within about 30 minutes you can get to places like The Deep aquarium in Hull, or Diggerland up near Durham. There's a lot for families if you don't mind a drive.
The facilities are what you'd need: dishwasher, washing machine, TV. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones. Bedding is included. Parking is right outside.
No pets, I'm afraid. It's because of the farm.
