Acorn Barn
Acorn Barn is in Laytham. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cows in the fields around.
It's a detached barn conversion, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of those is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is big, with a high ceiling. There's a wood burner, and we leave you some logs to get you started.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a BBQ. You can park right outside.
We accept up to two dogs. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them.
The village is quiet. There is a pub you can walk to, about ten minutes down the lane.
York is about half an hour's drive. That's where the Minster, the Railway Museum, and the Shambles are. The coast at Bridlington is roughly the same distance. For a day out, the National Trust has a few places nearby like Beningbrough Hall. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is about forty minutes west if you want bigger hills.
