South Lodge Cottage Worthington

South Lodge Cottage is a detached bungalow in Worthington. It’s for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. Got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs to worry about.

It’s a modern place. There’s a private gate from the garden straight onto the walking paths. You can walk along the canal, or around the lakes. It’s quiet.

The local shop and the pub are about five minutes’ walk. The pub does food.

You’re about half an hour’s drive from central Manchester. Liverpool is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes depending on traffic. It’s easy to get to the motorway.

For a day out, a drive into the Peak District is straightforward. You can be in the hills in well under an hour.

The bungalow has its own parking. There’s WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
