Osprey Lodge is a wooden lodge on our farm near Rogart. It's up a private track, so it's quiet. The views are good, just hills and fields.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have kingsize beds. The bathroom has a bath and a separate, accessible wet room shower. Everything is on one level, so it's fine for wheelchairs or if stairs are a problem.
The main room is open plan with a wood burner. The doors open onto a deck with a hot tub. The deck is enclosed, so it's private.
You're on a working farm. There are cattle and sheep in the fields. You'll see birds. Deer come through sometimes. It's very peaceful.
The village of Rogart is about a mile and a half away. It has a pub that does food, a shop, and a train station. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Tain or Dornoch.
Dornoch is about 15 minutes by car. There's a good beach there and the famous golf course. Dunrobin Castle is worth a visit, it's about half an hour away. If you want to see salmon, the Falls of Shin are a 20 minute drive.
In terms of stuff here: there's parking, an electric car charger, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs.
