Annie's Cottage is in Edinbane, on the Isle of Skye. It's one of a terrace of four, old crofter's cottages. They're from the late 1800s, so you get wooden beams, latch doors, the lot. It's been refurbished so it's comfortable, but it's still an old place.
It sleeps four. Two upstairs bedrooms, and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are steep because it's a cottage.
You get your own front and back garden, both enclosed. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave some logs to get you started.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about 400 yards away, and a restaurant even closer. Both have food and sometimes live music. There's a decent play park a couple of minutes' walk from the cottage.
Location is good. You're about halfway between Portree and Dunvegan. Portree is the main town, about 15 minutes' drive. They've got shops, a harbour for boat trips, and a leisure centre with a pool. Dunvegan Castle is about 20 minutes the other way.
You can get to a lot from here. Neist Point lighthouse is maybe 40 minutes' drive. The Talisker distillery is about half an hour. For a good walk, the Coral Beaches near Dunvegan are lovely. The coast is accessible.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
