The Coach House

The Coach House is on our farm near East Tytherton. It's a single-storey place, so everything's on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms and it sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

You're on a working farm with horses, pigs, and chickens. The garden is enclosed and looks out over the fields. It's quiet. You'll hear the animals.

The living space is open plan. There's a woodburner for colder evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

There's a games room in a shared barn with a pool table and table tennis. It's for all the guests on site.

The local pub is about two miles away in Kellaways. It does food. The nearest shop is in Bremhill, about three miles.

You're well placed for getting out. Lacock village and Abbey are about a 15-minute drive. Castle Combe is maybe 20 minutes. Both are very pretty and you'll probably recognise them from films. Chippenham's close for supermarkets and trains.

Bath is less than half an hour's drive. That's a full day out. The Roman Baths and the Abbey are the main things. Bradford-on-Avon is nice too, similar but smaller. If you want a big day out for kids, Bowood House has gardens and a big adventure playground. It's about 25 minutes away.

For walks, there are footpaths from the farm and along the old canal. The famous sites like Stonehenge and the Avebury Stone Circle are within a 30 to 40-minute drive.
