The Coach House

The Coach House is on our farm near East Tytherton. It's a single-storey cottage, which is handy. It used to be the old coach house, as you'd guess. It's joined to a couple of other cottages but you have your own garden, which is enclosed. It looks out over the fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings. The layout is open plan.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see horses, chickens, and pigs around. They're in their own fields, but you can hear the odd farm noise. It's very rural, but only about five miles from the M4 junction.

The local pub is about two miles away in Tytherton Lucas. They do food. The nearest proper shop is in Chippenham, about three miles.

For things to do, Lacock village is ten minutes by car. It's a National Trust place and they've filmed a lot there. Castle Combe is about fifteen minutes away, very pretty. Bath is maybe twenty-five minutes. You could spend a whole day there. Stonehenge is about half an hour's drive, and Avebury stone circle is a bit closer.

Facilities: there's parking right outside. WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We also have a shared games room with a pool table, which is in the old granary building.
