Meall Darroch is a cottage in Inverey, which is on the banks of the River Dee. It’s detached, so you’re on your own. The garden is yours. It sits in a big space, mostly moorland and hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating. It’s modern inside, has decent appliances, and is clean. There's a woodburning stove.
The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Braemar. Braemar is where they hold the Highland Games. You’re right by the Linn of Dee too, which is a good starting point for walks.
You’re in proper walking and climbing country here. The Cairngorms National Park is on your doorstep. Royal Deeside is all around you. Balmoral Castle is about a 20 minute drive. Aberdeen is maybe an hour if you need a city.
Facilities wise: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
