Go Ye Cottage is in Achamore on the Isle of Lewis. It's detached, so there's nobody next door. You get a patio area and a view towards Loch Achmore.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom downstairs, the other upstairs. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and modern inside.
The living area is open plan with a wood-burning stove. We supply the logs. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and a cot if you need one. All bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
From the cottage you can walk to the Achmore Stone Circle. It's in the peatland, a short walk up the road.
For beaches, you'll need to drive. Tràigh Mhòr near Tolsta is about half an hour north. It's big, with good waves. Uig Sands is about forty minutes west. The famous chessmen were found there. If you cross over to Harris, Luskentyre beach is just over an hour's drive. The water is very clear.
Callanish Standing Stones are a twenty minute drive. They're older than Stonehenge. The Carloway Broch is about half an hour away.
Stornoway is fifteen minutes by car. That's where the main shops are, and Lews Castle. The Pairc Peninsula is good for walks and birdwatching on the cliffs. Loch Achmore, which you can see from the garden, has brown trout fishing.
