The Woodshed Congerstone

The Woodshed is on a farm between Nailstone and Congerstone. It's a detached, single-storey barn conversion. You get a private, enclosed garden. It looks out over the fields where the sheep usually are.

The place sleeps six in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds are super king size but you can split them into twins if you need to. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order and it should be spotless when you arrive.

The main living space is all one big room with high ceilings. There's a wood burner, a decent kitchen with a dishwasher, and doors out to the garden. The hot tub is out there too. We've put in an electric car charger if you need it. There's a proper shower outside for washing muddy dogs.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but please keep an eye on them near the livestock.

The village pub is about a twenty minute walk down the lane. They do food. For groceries, you'd want to drive to Market Bosworth, which is about four miles.

If you like walking, the Ashby Canal towpath is nearby. The National Forest is close, with plenty of trails. For a day out, Bosworth Battlefield is just down the road. Twycross Zoo is about fifteen minutes by car. Calke Abbey is a National Trust property and worth a visit, maybe half an hour away. Drayton Manor theme park is also within a thirty minute drive.

Facilities: everything on the list is there and works. That includes the washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
