Low Barn is in Carlton, which is between Leicestershire and Warwickshire. It's a converted barn on our stud farm, so you're looking out at horses and fields. It's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. The main room has a wood burner. There are beams, which you'd expect. The layout wraps around a courtyard that gets the sun.
You can walk straight out from the door. There are three pubs within walking distance. Market Bosworth is under a mile away. It's a small market town with shops around the square.
For things to do, Hicks Lodge is good for cycling and walking. There's an outdoor lido at Hood Park. The National Trust's Calke Abbey is about a 30 minute drive. Conkers, which has indoor and outdoor adventure stuff, is roughly the same.
Donington Park race circuit is about 15 miles away if that's your thing. The Peak District is further, about an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
