Glenfyne Apartment is in Ardrishaig. It's on the first floor of a house called Seaside House. The main thing you'll notice is the view. You get a good look across Glen Gilp from the windows. It's quite open.
It's a four star place. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There's just the one bathroom, so you have to plan a bit in the mornings.
You get a garden with the place. It's just grass really, but there's a BBQ and some chairs. There's a slipway right there if you've brought kayaks, and we've got storage for bikes and boats.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. It's a decent space. The kitchen is open plan, so you can talk to people while you're cooking. Everything you'd expect is there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. The parking is on site.
You're right on the Crinan Canal. It's a minute's walk to watch the boats come through the locks. Good for a flat walk or a cycle. The sea is about a mile away at Ardrishaig Point.
Lochgilphead is a few minutes in the car for shops and things. If you want to head out, Carnasserie Castle is nearby. Kilmartin Glen is about twenty minutes up the road, that's where all the old stones and carvings are.
Oban is probably forty-five minutes north. You can get ferries from there to the islands. Tarbert is a nice fishing village, maybe half an hour south. They do good seafood.
Facilities wise, we've included bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. There's an electric car charger. No pets, sorry.
