The Salthouse Sunderland

The Salthouse is a one bedroom flat in Seaburn, Sunderland. It's on the ground floor. It sleeps two people and you can bring a dog.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That basically means it's a comfortable, well-equipped place. Everything is on one level. The kitchen is new and has a washing machine. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

You have your own little patio out the back. It's a sun trap in the morning.

Seaburn Beach is about a three minute walk. It's a good, long sandy beach. Roker Beach is just along the promenade. Both are dog friendly in the right areas and seasons. The promenade itself is great for a proper long walk.

There are a few cafes and pubs nearby. Nothing fancy, but they're decent. The local Metro station is a short walk away. That gets you into Newcastle city centre in about 20 minutes, or to the airport.

If you drive, you can be in the centre of Newcastle in 15 minutes. Tynemouth and Whitley Bay are also about 15 to 20 minutes away that way. Durham city is about half an hour's drive.

For things to do, the National Trust at Souter Lighthouse is just along the coast. The Beamish Museum is a good day out, about 25 minutes by car.

It has a TV and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car.
