The Saddlers Cottage

The Saddlers Cottage is on the Front Street in East Boldon. It's an old cottage, so it's got character. The walls are thick, the floors are a bit uneven in places. It feels solid.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow. That's just how it is.

You've got a little enclosed courtyard off to the side. It gets the sun in the afternoon. It's private.

The village is nice. There's a good butcher, a post office, and a few pubs. The nearest one is about 250 yards away. They do food. The metro station is close, so you can get into Newcastle or out to the coast without driving.

The beach at Seaburn and Roker is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper sandy beach. People go there for walks, fish and chips, that sort of thing. Roker Park has a play area and a little train for kids.

Further along the coast, places like Tynemouth and Whitley Bay are about half an hour on the metro. Good for a day out. If you want to drive, the Northumberland coast, like Alnwick Castle or Bamburgh, is about an hour north. It's a nice drive.

In the house, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on the street outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
