Coastal Oasis

This is a small place for two people. It's one room, like a studio, with a kitchen area, a bed, and a shower room off the main space. It's separate from the main house, with its own entrance and a private courtyard out the back.

The space used to be an outbuilding, so the ceilings are high, which helps it feel bigger than it is. The kitchenette is basic but works for breakfasts and simple meals. The bed is comfortable. It has a three star rating, so it’s clean and functional rather than luxurious.

It's in Meols, near Hoylake on the Wirral. You can walk to Meols beach in five minutes. The sand stretches for miles there, good for long walks. The Royal Liverpool golf club is also about a ten minute walk away.

Hoylake centre is close by, with pubs, cafes, and places to eat. Manor Road station is a five minute walk if you want to catch the train into Liverpool and leave the car. You can park on the driveway here.

There’s a washing machine in the utility room next door, which you’re welcome to use.

One well behaved dog is allowed. The courtyard is enclosed, but it's not huge.

If you want to explore, West Kirby and the Hilbre Islands are a short drive away for coastal walks. Birkenhead Park is about twenty minutes by car. Liverpool city centre is roughly half an hour, depending on traffic.

For information on local walks and nature reserves, the Dee Estuary website is useful. For trips into Liverpool, Mersey Ferries is the one to look at.
