Hallcroft Fishery is a static caravan on a fishing lake site just outside Retford. It's a 4 Star, which means it's clean, modern, and well-equipped. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps six but there's decent space.
The main thing is the hot tub. It's on your own decked area and looks straight out over the lake. You're right on the water, so it's quiet. You can fish from the lake if you've got a rod license and buy a day ticket on site.
Inside, it's open plan. All your bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, a shower, and parking right outside. The garden bit is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.
On site there's a bar. It's a short walk from the caravan. The nearest proper pub is a drive away. Retford town is about ten minutes by car for supermarkets and things.
For days out, Sherwood Forest is about half an hour's drive. The visitor centre there is good for walks and the Robin Hood stuff. Cusworth Hall near Doncaster is about the same distance, nice for a walk around the parkland. Clumber Park is also within half an hour, which is a big National Trust estate with a lake and cycling.
